This One Thing, the publisher for Crossing Swords, has put together promotional materials and a publicity release to include with advance copies now going out to book review editors at trade magazines and other publications. It currently consists of a press release, fact sheet, praise quotes from selected endorsers, and a print of the illustration page in the book. See the Media page for the media kit. The materials bring out the relevance and universality of the themes explored in the book, and therefore the potential to appeal to a broad audience. 
This book review package was sent out this past week to a dozen editors with request for a book review of Crossing Swords for their publications. Queries to a dozen more will be made this next week. A first response has already been received, and the answer was YES!
